G Square Wings of Fire Awards for the year 2022 to Para sportspersons
G Square Wings of Fire Awards 2022 was held recently at Hyderabad on 10th October 2022. G Square has organized such a big event to honour the para sportspersons. This prestigious award event occurred at The Westin, Hyderabad. 

The event was felicitated by Mr Anil MINZ, DIG GC RRY, cum Director NCDE, Mr B. Sai Praneeth, Indian badminton player and Mr Eshwar N, CEO, G Square housing and T. Sanjeevaiah, general secretary para sports association of Telangana, the eminent personalities. 

The Paralympians were honoured with cash prizes. The award has been granted in different categories. G Square has rewarded the Paralympians who have participated and represented in national and international sports at different levels. The reward was categorized into 1,00,000/-, 75,000/-, and 50,000/-.

Mariyappan Thangavelu, Manasi Girishchandra Joshi, Pranav Prashant Desai, and Bhagyashree Madhavrao Javad are the awardees who have received Rs. 1,00,000/- cash award. Gopinath K, Medha Jayanth, and SR Tejaswini have been awarded Rs. 75,000/-. Venu Vinukoti, CT/GD Birbhadra Singh – Hyderabad, INS/GD Ajay Kumar – Hyderabad are the para-sports personalities who received the Rs. 50,000/- as the award.

It is the initiative to recognize and honour differently abled personalities who are Paralympians. G Square has decided to sponsor hundreds of well-deserving athletes within the next year. G Square has made many such initiatives under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities). 

This initiative has aimed to encourage the other upcoming para-sports persons and to recognize the Paralympians who have given a lot to achieve and for making us proud. These Paralympians are the true inspiration, and this results as a motivation to the budding ones. By keeping them as the icon, many budding para-sports persons get inspired and chase their dream and career in sports. These Paralympians are not only an inspiration for fellow para-sports persons but to everyone who wants to chase their goal. 

G Square has initiated this event, “G Square Wings of Fire Awards 2022”, under CSR. G Square believes this initiative will inspire, encourage and bring out more such talents. This step is to reward the struggles of these para-sports persons. 

In his words, Mr Eshwar N, CEO of G Square Housing, “It’s easier said than done to turn one’s adversity into one’s opportunity. But these amazing people have shown the world that they can achieve anything despite being differently abled. We as a society should learn from their struggles and salute their will power and zeal. And the least we could do for them is to recognize their relentless efforts and support them in every possible way so they can inspire many more similar talents to enter the sports arena. We are also planning to sponsor 100 such deserving athletes within the next one year”.
