Chennai Runs Marathon – Sponsored By G Square

G Square has sponsored the Chennai 2023 Marathon Run with the intention of spreading positive energy among the participants. The event, organized by Madras Round Table 1 (MRT1) to collect cash for the Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust, drew a large crowd of eager runners on Nov 26 2023. According to the organizers, around 10,000 people participated in the marathon, which began at Olcott School in Besant Nagar was flagged off by actor Raghava Lawrence. The marathon contained 3km, 5km, and 10 km distances. Actor Raghava Lawrence thanked the organizers for “promoting fitness and channeling funds to a noble social cause that can promote healthy lifestyle among all age groups”.
